Join us for the European Business Organisation (EBO) Sustainability Summit 2025!

Held on February 27-28 at the Sun and Moon Hotel in Phnom Penh, the year's event builds on the success of the 2024 EBO Summit as a forum to enhance regional collaboration on sustainability through country and regional action plans. 

Day 1 of the summit will feature an open session involving representatives from various EBOs, stakeholders from the textile and garment industry, EU delegations in the region, international organisations, NGOs focused on sustainable development, and corporate sustainability officers from various companies. 

Agenda Highlights

  • Shared Challenges in the Garment Sector - A panel discussion with EBOs, STAR members, and other stakeholders to identify the primary and ongoing sustainability issues in Asia 
  • The Future of Sustainability in the Textile Industry - A presentation from private sector exploring upcoming issues, trends and potential solutions in the industry  
  • Introduction to TAFTAC - Overview of Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC) and the success of Cambodian Garment Training Institute (CGTI) 
  • Group Discussions - Small group sessions and feedback sessions between EBO representatives, STAR members, TAFTAC, and other stakeholders on potential opportunities for collaboration 
  • Building a Collaborative Roadmap for Sustainability - Final interactive session on identifying immediate next steps and collaborative projects between EBOs, garment associations, and training institutions 

Day 2 will feature private meetings and closed-door sessions where EBOs can collaborate on developing new action plans, and applying insights gained from previous sessions

The summit will be closed by a networking dinner open to the public.  

Join us for this unique opportunity for international dialogue and to explore Cambodia's role as a regional leader for advancing sustainability initiatives and EU HREDD in textile industries across partners in Asia.
